THE GROTTO OFF SITE PROJECT
Daniela Grabosch, Hugo Canoilas

An invisible thread of dazzled amazement guides me from cave to cave. Here are the sea and light seen from within. Terror of penetrating the secret dwelling place of beauty; terror of seeing what I had not even dared to see; terror of looking into the images more interiors to me than my own thought. My shoulders slide surrounded by water and purple plants. I cross stone throats and the maze architecture hoovers, corrupted over the green. Columns of shadow and light hold heaven and earth. Anemones surround the large water room where my fingers touch the pink sand at the bottom. I open my eyes wide in the green and liquid silence, where fast, fast fish, escape from me. Arches and rosettes support and draw, the clarity of
the morning spaces. The king' of the sea's palaces oozes light and water. This morning is just like the beginning of the world and here I come to see what has never been seen.
