Ângelo de Sousa would be 75 years old today. He was born in Mozambique, lived in Porto and London. He studied painting and he taught. He made scenography, figuration, painting, sculpture, drawing, film, photography. He worked with the paper, with the film, with the metal, with the canvas. He was continually experimenting new techniques. He revealed in an interview (Público, March 30, 2011) that what he wanted was to work, to be able to do things. He made in permanence until the last years of his life. His production, immense, is now being organized and catalogued.
Memorial with videos by Regina Guimarães and never published photographs.
