The Moustache Hidden in the Beard

Quadrado Azul is pleased to present a new solo exhibition by Francisco Tropa. Some of the exhibited works were created in the context of the cycle The Mustache Hidden in the Beard, that started in 2017, and are now placed in dialogue with works from other projects.

Formal and semantic affinities between the collected works take us to places often visited by the artist: the concept of collection and of time as creative agent; the game and the copy; the deconstruction of mythological representations, cosmological movements and medieval geometry.
