On the 24th of November at 7 pm, Hugo Canoilas opens Debaixo do Vulcão [Under the Vulcano] at the Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea do Chiado, in Lisbon. The project, curated by Emília Tavares and integrated in the second MNAC/SONAE ART CYCLES' second edition, "overlaps the idea of film and exhibition through a series of interventions that will take place both outside and within the MNAC-MC spaces". The film Debaixo do Vulcão is inspired by the novel by Malcolm Lowry and explores the juxtaposition of references and ideas. To visit at the MNAC until the 26th of March 2017.
