So Many Names

So Many Names, a project by Luísa Jacinto curated by Miguel Mesquita, proposes a sensory and temporal reflection on the way we observe, read and inhabit painting. Conceived as an installation, the work articulates the ideas of reading, landscape and body to suggest different ways of experiencing painting, understood here not only as image, but as a substance that unfolds and expands indiscriminately in rhythm and distance.

The opening will feature a performance by Francisco Rolo and Beatriz Marques Dias, deepening the synaesthetic and phenomenological dimension, expanding the observer's field of perception.

The installation will be on display at the Francisco Tavares Proença Júnior Museum until 2 December 2025.
